Camp da Vinci is designed to teach basic principles of science through techniques used by the greatest genius of this millenium. In this camp we learn the basics of aerodynamics by building huge hot air balloons. We learn engineering by building trebuchets. We learn about anatomy through figure drawing, etc. It is a powerful week where students keep detailed journals of observation and documentation while experimenting with interesting materials and creating their own theories about the interconnection between art and science. June through August 2009
